A Marshall Mackenzie 1921. Short fluted column on battered
square plinth. Polished ashlar grey granite. Faces of plinth
have plaques depicting 1st World War kilted soldier and
names of fallen of 1914-19 and 1939-45 wars. Column terminates
with shaped cap with egg and dart border from S side of which
is suspended cast empire garland.
Memorial unveiled by Countess of Seafield,
18 Sept. 1921.
