Circa 1900. 2-storey, 6-bay flatted block. Red sandstone, squared and snecked bull-faced rubble with ashlar dressings to front, render to rear and sides. String course above ground floor, arched with bold keystones over outer bays and open pedimented over centre; overhanging eaves with exposed rafters; ashlar mullions.
E (FRONT) ELEVATION: paired doorways to right of centre with chip-carving detail to lintel, window above. 2nd, 3rd and 5th bay from left with 2-storey canted windows over battered bases and shallow finialled roofs; tall wallhead stacks to corners.
S ELEVATION: doorway to centre with small slated canopy over timber brackets rising from stone corbels, window flanking and above.
N ELEVATION: as above.
W (REAR) ELEVATION: 2 small rectangular outshoots. Some timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing, mostly replacement windows. Piended slate roof with crested red ridge tiles; 2 central stacks, 2 wallhead stack (see above).
INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
Low stepped rubble wall with saddleback coping.
