Description

Later 19th century corner tenement, 4+3 bays to Duke Street, 4-bay range (which is 4-storeyed and has outer bipartites) probably not original, but reproduces distinctive detailing of 3-storey corner range. Shops at ground to Duke Street, stone cleaned ashlar above stop-chamfered windows (all sashes originally - T-shaped glazing survives in corner range), window hoods and main cornice have big nailhead detailing; 2 arched doorways to Westercraigs similarly detailed (No 5 has good tiled close). Single 19th century piended canted dormer to Duke Street; rebuilt stacks; modern tile roof.
