Walter Macfarlane & Co, Saracen Foundry (plate inscribed), originally for 1901 Glasgow Empire Exhibition. Cast-iron fountain with high quality sculptural detail; low outer basin, plinth set central within, with 4 seated figures at foot, open top a version of the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates; small basin raised above.
