Description

Thomson and Turnbull, 1877. Thomsonesque villa,
composition built up from porch recessed on right flank,
2-storey gable adjoining, lofty close-spaced 3-storey
gable left. Snecked ashlar, unmargined single/mullioned/
grouped windows (plate glass sashes), deep eaves and
barge-boards to shallow-pitch gables, slated roofs;
corniced stacks; low range behind porch built as
conservatory.
Low boundary wall; square painted ashlar gatepiers.
