Circa 1800. 5-storey, 4-bay. Originally domestic and
commercial use. Painted ashlar. Modern ground floor;
architraved and corniced 1st floor windows; band course
below 3rd floor and modern 4th floor slightly jettied on
former eaves cornice, and with shallowly pitched roof.
Plate glass glazing to sash and case windows. End stacks.
Listed category C(S) with 5 and 9 Garth Street as surviving
remnant of Georgian development which grew up after, and
complemented the Trades House, Glassford Street. Currently
under conversion to flats (1988).
