Description

John C MacKellar, 1903, 4-storey long tenement, ranges
stepped up steep slope. Red ashlar, channelled at ground;
renaissance ornament including aedicules. Each range is
similar, asymmetrical, with paired steps to 2 doors (Ionic-
pilastered doorcases) pair full-height canted windows with
aedicules at 1st floor; single and 3-light windows; single
wall-head stacks; deep-eaved slate roofs. Most original
plate glass sashes survive.
