Circa 1894. Park bridge, single depressed arch spanning
river Kelvin. Faced with red ashlar; channelled
voussoirs, abutments and pilasters flanking arch.
Ornately carved spandrels with City of Glasgow crest.
Shallow ramped wide roadway. Polished pink granite
parapet balustraded over arch; plain at widely curved
approaches. Die pedestals of granite over pilasters,
supporting decorative cast-iron lamp brackets. Soffit
built of red brick.
