Circa 1820. Single storey and attic, 3-bay cottage with
centre door. Rubble with tooled and polished ashlar
dressings. Slightly advanced piended porch with
chamfered angles; hoodmoulds to door and windows; one
piended dormer. 3-pane glazing. Slate roof; rubble
garden wall.
Later addition to gable end of No 5 West Road. Appears with
Nos 5 and 7 on Wood's Town Map of 1822 as belonging to
Mr Forsyth.
