Early 19th century. 2-storey and dormerless attic
dwelling of 3 bays with centre door. Coursed rubble;
tooled ashlar dressings; raised margins; moulded eaves
cornice; 12-pane sashes; slightly later square rubble
porch with chamfered angles. Near contemporary
2-storey, 2-bay wing to S gable.
Low rubble wall with dressed stone cope and some
contemporary cast-iron railing.
INTERIOR: stone staircase with timber and decorative cast-iron balustrade, timber handrail and moulded nosings to each tread returning down face to wall; moulded cornices to principal rooms; decorative plaster moulding to 1st floor drawing room; 6-panelled doors and shutters: plain timber chimneypieces; architraved doorways.
