Description

Possibly Thomas P Marwick, 1880. 5-storey, 4-bay tenement, symmetrical above ground, forming part of terrace. Squared and snecked sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; string course at 1st floor; corbel table at 4th floor stepped down to 3rd floor; roll-moulded doorways; panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; chamfered reveals.

N ENTRANCE elevation: 2 doorways in 3rd bay; bipartite windows above; pedimented dormerhead to 4th floor window. Doorway flanked to right by single window in 2nd bay; bipartite windows above; pedimented dormerhead to 4th floor window. Full-height canted windows in bays to outer left and right; dividing cornices; eaves cornice; pyramidal roof. Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; corniced wallhead stack (dressings replaced); corniced mutual stacks.

INTERIORS: not seen 1991.

Boundary coping with a few original railings to street.
