Description

Circa 1878. 4-storey with attic, 4-bay symmetrical Baronial tenement. Squared and snecked sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; corbel table at 3rd floor stepped down at centre; chamfered reveals.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central architraved doorway; deep-set panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single windows to left and right at ground. Advanced gabled bays to outer left and right with tripartite windows to each floor; bipartite windows in gableheads. Single windows in remaining bays; blank square tablet between bays at 2nd floor; crowstepped gable bridging centre bays and breaking eaves with attic windows; floral patera inset.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; 3 moulded, linked stacks to central gablehead, forming T-plan with stack behind; coped mutual stacks; moulded cans.

INTERIORS: not seen 1990.

Low saddleback wall to street.
