Standard Edinburgh police box by City Architects Department (E J MacRae, City Architect), designed probably late 1930's. Classical rectangular cast-iron box 6ft by 4ft on plan. 2-bay pilastered long elevations, one with door. Single bay short elevations surmounted by open pediments containing ribboned wreath decoration. Saltire patterned glazing to all elevations. Roof formerly carried UKWMO siren.
