Early 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay town house with basement. Cream sandstone, droved ashlar with polished dressings, coursed and squared rubble to rear and side. Band course above basement; band cill course at ground floor; band course above ground floor; dentilled eaves cornice with blocking course; architraved windows at ground floor.
SW (FRONT) ELEVATION: Roman Doric doorpiece approached by railed steps with stylised foliate frieze to columns, cornice and blocking course to bay to left of centre, rectangular plate glass fanlight, 2-leaf panelled door. Single windows to remaining bays and floors. 2 canted and piended dormers.
NW (REAR) ELEVATION: central stair window with stained glass, small flat-roofed extension at ground floor below. Modern picture window inserted at 1st floor of right bay. Single windows to left bay.
NE ELEVATION: 3-bay; gabled with broad apex stack; single windows (blocked in outer bays).
Timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing. Black slate roof; apex stack (see above), coped mutual stack.
INTERIOR: tiled vestibule with ornate cornice, tripartite inner door, plasterwork to hall and stair.
BOUNDARY WALLS AND RAILINGS: low and taller boundary wall, some original arrowhead iron railings.
