Circa 1865. 2-storey 3-bay symmetrical rectangular-plan villa with single storey service wing and conservatory. Cream sandstone, ashlar front, squared and snecked stugged rubble to rear and sides. Base course; band course above ground floor; overhanging eaves with eaves cornice; architraved windows with bracketted cills; consoled cornices to ground floor windows.
N (FRONT) ELEVATION: round-arched moulded doorway to centre with semi-circular fanlight under consoled cornice, panelled door and tiled vestibule and hall; single window at 1st floor above. Outer bays with single windows at ground and 1st floor.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: single windows to right bay; large tripartite windows with timber mullions (later alterations) to ground and 1st floor of left bay. Single bay single storey service wing to outer right with single window.
W ELEVATION: large gabled timber conservatory to right bay, single window at 1st floor above. Single window at 1st floor to centre bay. 2 corniced wallhead stacks.
E ELEVATION: single storey service wing with half-piend roof to left and centre bays; single windows at 1st floor above. Tall stair window to right of centre. 2 corniced wallhead stacks.
Timber sash and case windows, 4-pane glazing. Black slate piend and platform roof with metal flashings; 4 wallhead stacks (see above), octgonal cans. Moulded eaves gutter.
INTERIOR: not seen 1992.
Tall rubble wall to rear and sides with semi-circular coping, low rubble wall to front, later cast-iron gates.
