Earlier 19th century (post-1824). Mirrored pair of 2-storey, 2-bay terraced houses. Deeply-channelled ashlar at ground; droved ashlar at 1st floor; polished ashlar dressings; squared and snecked rubble to rear. Base course, broad band course, panelled aprons to each window of 1st floor below cill course, cornice (overstepped by cornice of No 29) and blocking course.
SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: panelled doors in bays to centre, plate glass rectangular fanlights and windows at 1st floor above each. Windows to each floor of flanking bays.
NW (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey extension to centre; not seen fully, 1994.
Plate glass timber sash and case windows to No 31; 12-pane timber sash and case windows to No 33. Grey slate M-roof with coped skews and end stacks; piended slate roof with apex stack to extension to rear.
INTERIOR: not seen, 1994.
BOUNDARY WALLS: droved ashlar with coping; formerly with cast-iron railings.
The 1833 map is very unclear; the houses were definitely built by 1854.
