Pilasters between with plain capitals, wider ends framing facade with band course at top. Additional string course frame to fenestration. This building was probably designed by E J MacRae, as his plans of 1936 show this building extended by 2 bays to the S as part of the development for the tramway depot which included the building at 3-5 Smith?s Place. This building is good quality for its type, and is significant for its part in maintaining the streetline.
