Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey 3-bay house with shop at ground on corner site. Coursed cream sandstone with ashlar dressings; rendered and painted at ground; raised painted margins. Base course; band course/fascia above ground floor; cill course; regular fenestration.

N (FRONT) ELEVATION: 3 closely spaced bays; open pedimented with kneelers; apex stack. Shop at ground with glazed door and fanlight disposed to right, large plate glass shop window to left and small plate glass window to right. Left bay of upper floors with blind windows.

E ELEVATION: 2-bay; left bay with door and rectangular plate glass fanlight at ground and blind windows to upper floors; right bay with plate glass shop window at ground.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: irregular 2-bay.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; brick apex stacks.
