Description

Late 18th century, originally 3 storeys 5 bays, 2 lower
storeys united late in 19th century to form public house.
Droved ashlar and dressings, all painted. Public house has
off-centre round-headed doorway (panelled 2-leaf door and
decorative fanlight) flanked by wide basket-arched and aproned
windows; these openings with pilastered jambs and moulded
arches; plain round-headed doorway left. Band course between
upper floors. Top floor with plate glass sashes (1 blocked
window); cill band; eaves/lintel band; cornice; straight
skews; end stacks; slate roof.
