Description

David Neave circa 1817. 2-storey, 3-bay stugged ashlar

with ashlar dressings villa. Advanced pedimented centre bay with ground floor Ionic columned round arched doorpiece and later cast-iron balustrade over. Ground floor windows altered circa 1860, canted bay to right and advanced triple window to left, both framed in pilasters and corniced. 1st floor original windows in margins. Main cornice and blocking course. Piended platformed slate roof with 2 central ridge stacks. Sash and case plate glass windows. Conservatory at E on stone plinth with ridge cresting. Square sectioned cast-iron gatepiers, by Hill and Smith Ltd, Brierley Hill, circa 1850 with wrought-iron lamps. Curved coursed rubble garden walls.
