Description

George Angus circa 1840-5. 2-storey 3-bay neo-classical villa, ashlar-fronted with random rubble sides and rear. S ELEVATION: centre bay recessed with engaged Greek Doric columned corniced door-piece. Canted bay rises through 2 floors at right, architraved and corniced ground floor bipartite to left with plain window over. 1st floor sill course. Angle piers. Main cornice, blocking course. Rubble-built side elevations with 2 ashlar corniced wallhead stacks to each face.

Piended slate roofs. Sash and case windows, now with 2-pane glazing pattern.

Low boundary walls ashlar to front, high rubble-built walls to rear.
