J Jerdan and Son, 1911. 2-storey square plan house. Sandstone
rubble with ashlar dressings. Piended slate roof with central
ridge stack.
Doorway on N front with simple architrave and keystoned
segmental head. Panelled double doors with upper panels
glazed. W wall continues to form kitchen court to NE.
2-BAY SW FRONT: masonry relieving arch above tripartite
ground floor window to W. Full-height curved bay corbelled out
at 1st floor with slate roof to S. Sash windows throughout,
multi-pane upper lights; mainly plate glass lower.
Alterations to kitchen windows 1911. Conservatory added 1912.
INTERIOR: interesting with original woodwork.
Commissioned by David Livingstone Bowe for his mother. Groups
with the Priory and Gardener's Cottage.
