Description

Early 20th century. 2-storey house at end of group of 3,
incorporating skewputt dated 1788 probably reset from earlier
house on the site. Harled with ashlar cills and door
surround. Bolection moulded off-centre doorway, small-pane
upper light in panelled door. Narrow stair window in end bay
to W. and 3-light ground floor window to E both with splayed
lintels. Narrow 1st floor windows; small-pane casements
throughout. Slated roof; harled stacks. Plain raised skews
with rounded skewputts from earlier house.

Statement of Interest

Possibly contemporary with Belhaven House Lodge by Sir Robert

Lorimer 1912, or stemming from his office. Numbers 1-3 (odd)

adjoining treated similarly.
