Description

Early 19th century, 2-storey, and attic, 3-bay house; coursed
rubble, ashlar dressings (some margins repaired with render),
rubble gables. Centre panelled pilastered and corniced door
piece, double leaf panelled door added in mid 19th century;
pair ground floor windows at right bay; 1st floor windows
linked by eaves band; 3 piended dormers, 2 and 4-pane glazing;
ribbed scroll skewputts; corniced end stacks (renewed at south
gable); slate roof. Low coped retaining wall with late 19th
century ornate cast-iron railing and matching pedestrian gate;
cast-iron gate piers.

Wing to rear No.7 Hill Street, not listed. Appears (without

rear window on Wood's 1821 map of Dingwall as Mr A Stewart's

House.
