Description

Mid 19th century. Terrace of 2-storey cottages, No 83 with
corner elevation with Southwick Road; shop at ground with
entrance across angle.
No 83 4-bay with cart arch (pend) to right, otherwise 3-bay
elevations.
Bull-faced granite walling to Southwick Road, rendered
walling to High Street elevations with rendered raised
margins. All windows single light sashes; except 1 bipartite
at 91; plate glass, 4 or 12-pane glazing. Depressed-arch cart
entrances at Southwick Road and No 83 High Street. Bracketted
eaves, slate roofs, corniced axial stacks at party walls.
Flank to Southwick Road: 4-bay with cart-entrance flanked by
single light windows.
