Formerly listed as Forth View (W A Chisholm). The grandfather of the current occupant, built this and the adjacent Preston View. Although a later addition to Tanhouse Brae, the design of Forth View has drawn inspiration from other Culross houses and its street elevation echoes the arrangement of the adjacent Shoemaker's House. Forth View and Preston View replaced earlier houses which are depicted on the Ordnance Survey map of Perthshire, 1860.
