Probably 17th century. Weathered sandstone shaft in 2 pieces with trefoil capital and remains of Drummond coat of arms, possible angel head on opposite face.
This cross may have been commissioned by James Drummond (after 1687) when "parts of Crieff were erected into a Burgh of Regality in favour of James Drummond, Earl of Perth and Chancellor of Scotland. Drummond's Charter was never ratified by the Scottish Parliament as he refused to recognise the claims of William and Mary, and the cross never saw active market service." (Haynes).
