Late 18th century with alterations. 3-storey and attic, single bay classical tenement on corner site. Painted coursed, squared sandstone. Base course; banding at ground to SW elevation; mutuled cornice to shopfront (NW elevation); cill courses to 1st and 2nd floors; cornice; blocking course. Roman Doric pilasters to 1st floor Venetian windows; painted margins to 2nd floor windows.
NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: entrance to outer left; 2-leaf aluminium glazed door and fanlight; 2 shopfront windows to right. Venetian window at 1st floor. 3 single windows at 2nd floor (centre window blind).
SW (NEWMARKET STREET) ELEVATION: 3-bay, centre bay recessed. Entrance at ground to outer right; glazed timber door; flanking shop windows; shop windows to bays to left. 3 Venetian windows at 1st floor; regular single window fenestration at 2nd floor (2 single windows to central bay). 2 piended dormers to outer left and right at attic.
6-pane to upper sashes at 2nd floor (with exception of central bay to SW elevation). Grey slate roof; coped stacks; circular cans.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
Altered shopfront at ground, centre bay of SW elevation originally had flanking couple pilasters (right hand pair survive). Notable series of Venetian windows at 1st floor.
