Circa 1800. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with single storey addition. Rubbl e, harled at front and rear, with red sandstone ashlar dressings; base course and moulded eaves cornice. S elevation: 3 bays grouped towards centre; corniced doorway at centre; deep-set panelled door with fanlight. Windows in flanking bays and each at 1st floor. E
elevation: piend-roofed service addition at ground, obscured to S
high, ashlar coped blank screen wall. W elevation: window to each
floor at centre. Stair window at rear with windows in flanking
bays, that to left at ground obscured by addition.12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows. Generous ashlar, shouldered end stacks. Grey slates to piend roof. Walled garden: high rubble, ashlar coped walls to garden to E of house, adjoined to house and steading. Terrace wall: low ashlar coped rubble semi-circular terrace wall to S house with corniced and white-washed ashlar piers with pyramidal caps paired at centre and closing terrace. Gatepiers: detailed as those of terrace wall.
Steading to N and W still retains circular section stalk with cornice,and buildings of variety of dates.
