Description

Probably 19th century. Skye-type thatched cottage with
outbuildings to south east. COTTAGE: centre-doored 3-bay east
front; squared and pinned rubble evenly-battered walls with
curved angles. 2 adjoined outbuildings, smaller now a tractor
shed with north-facing vehicle opening inserted. Muran thatch
roofs, secured with ropes and stone weights.

Statement of Interest

Unoccupied (1983) Shown on 1st ed O.S. (surveyed 1878).

The quality of the mason work is particularly good.
