Description

Late 18th/early 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay inn; originally
single storey additional west wing raised to 2 storeys
probably late 19th century. All harled. South elevation:
central porch with pyramidal roof to 3-bay section, door in
re-entrant angle; (lower) wing 2 bays, upper windows with
gabled dormer heads; small-paned glazing, mostly sashes; end
stacks; straight skews; slate roofs. Modern flat-roofed bar
addition to west links inn with former stables, latter now
derelict.

Statement of Interest

An inn was established at Pollachar following the Statutes of

Iona 1609.
