Description

Mid 19th century. Early Victorian Villa (subdivided into separate properties). Two storeys and attic with single storey wings to east and west. Rubble, harled at sides; gabled slate roofs with piended dormers; brackets at eaves. Ashlar chimneys. Semi-classical doorway (without pilasters).

In accordance with Section 1 (4A) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997 the following is excluded from the listing: Seacliff Cottage.

In accordance with Section 1 (4A) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997 the following is excluded from the listing: Seacliff Cottage.

Seacliff Cottage was formed in the 1960s when two rectangular-plan 19th-century ancillary buildings at this location, (stables and a former Coachman's House) were substantially remodelled and joined together to form a single property.

Statutory address revised and listed building record updated in 2022. Previously listed as 'Seacliff House, including Coachman's House, Lochgilhead Rd'.
