Earlier to mid 19th century. Vehicular bridge over Palnure Burn;
single track, on E-W axis. Single span, with low segmental arch. Rubble. Granite voussoirs, abutments and slab coping. Granite band course below parapet. Wingwalls terminated by square granite piers, flat-pyramidal capped.
Craignine Bridge is called "Bargaly Bridge" on the OS Map of 1849-50.
