Circa 1768/80. Gutted as workshop, externally little altered. Single-storey big-end small-end type, squared rubble with
cherry cocking, margins, skewputts and coped chimney, 3-windows
2 doors arranged alternately.
The adjoining property at nos. 27, 29 'The White Ship' was the
first built in Strichen, but has been much rebuilt and is now
derelict. The first fous taken were those nearest the well.
