Description

1820-30, possibly of 2 builds. Single storey U-plan house.

Harled, tooled ashlar margins. 3-bay centre portion with

centre door masked by projecting porch with side entrance,

front window and piended roof. 12-pane glazing. Margined and

coped ridge stacks, renewed at W; later wallhead stack at

W wing; piended slate roofs.

INTERIOR: 2-leaf entrance door with long single panels in style of William Robertson or Archibald Simpson; plain moulded cornices; deep skirtings; some need door facings with rosette blocks; E wing drawing room with cornice and authemion frieze; doors and shutters moulded with beaded octagonal panels.
