16th Century L-plan tower house, with circular turret, corbelled to square at upper level, projecting from north west angle; 4 storeys, with attics; 18th century east wing; 19th century west wing, and various additions to north. All harled, with ashlar dressings. South elevation: original tower house has 2 bays, left bay advanced and gabled, with
projecting 19th century castellated, dummy porch; 2 window openings above; door in re-entrant angle; 2 ground floor slit openings to right bay, inserted 12-pane sashes above. 3-storey east wing has 3 irregular bays, 19th century door in hood-moulded architrave with side lights; 12-pane sashes. 4-storey conical-roofed round tower at north east angle. West wing raised to 2 storeys later in 19th century; 4 bays, with 12-pane sashes; crenellated parapet linked to tall, square terminal turret: similar block to north, beyond courtyard, parallel to west wing. Crowstepped gables; apex and axial stacks and slated roofs.
INTERIOR: vaulted ground floor chamber in tower house. East wing has decorative cast-iron stair balusters, panelled doors in architraves, and some ornamental plaster work.
