Dated 1796; rubble with lower portion of wheel-gable ashlar;
2 storeys.
Originally square-plan 3 bays; later extended northwards
by further bay. Wheel and machinery removed but marks of
wheels at south gable; 2 mill stones survive at first floor.
Slated roof. Now much altered and used as corn store.
Date on skewputt at wheel-gable.
Built by Henrietta Gordon of Newhall and Braelangwell (wife
of David Urquhart of Braelangwell) as a snuff factory.
It later served as a woolen mill.
