Description

Joseph Mitchell, 1860-62. Sharply skewed 5 arch bridge of 77'
span. Skewing achieved by having each span built as 5 separate
staggered narrow arches.

Statement of Interest

Built for Inverness and Ross-shire Railway.

Opened 11 June, 1862.

Stone plaque at north side of bridge gives names of patrons and

other details.
