Description

Church: 1765, repaired 1793 and 1829; re-cast later 19th century.
Simple rectangular building orientated E-W with small
rear wing containing Minister's room forming re-entrant
angle with doorway. Harled rubble, tooled ashlar margins
and dressings.
Pair round-headed windows in S elevation (formerly with
entrances in outer bays); leaded pane glazing. Birdcage bellcote
with stumpy finials; slate roof.
Interior: simple interior with late 19th century fittings;
grained pews; panelled Minister's desk.
Watch-house: small square rubble watch-house in SW angle of
burial ground; centre door, 2 small square vents under
eaves; end stacks; slate roof piended at left gable.
Burial ground: enclosing rubble wall of varying heights
with flat or roughly shaped rubble cope; square gate piers
flank entrance opposite former church doorways; later
pedestrian entrance without piers.
