Dunglass Estate, Gazebo, dated 1718.

Uploader's Comments

This beautifully designed and detailed building stands on a wooded ridge above the estate. It is quite difficult to find and best seen in the winter when the vegitation is low. Considering its age it is well preserved and the detailing is sharp. It must be the finest small building of the period in Scotland and is almost unknown.
