Description

Early 19th century farmhouse, 2-storey, 3-bay, with
2 single storey outhouse wings projecting at rear.
Squared and snecked stugged whinstone with stugged
ashlar dressings. Eaves course extended round angle,
echoed at rear. Rubble sides and rear.
S ELEVATION: margined doorpiece to centre, 6-pane strip
fanlight. Windows flanking at ground, 3 smaller windows
at 1st floor.
N ELEVATION: 2 gabled outhouse extensions at ground,
doorway off-centre in lean-to porch. 3-windows at 1st
floor.
Single light to gable ends.
12 pane glazing to sash and case windows.
Grey slates, straight skews, rendered stacks.
WALL AND PIERS: Low rubble retaining wall with ashlar
corniced gatepiers.
