Description

Circa 1830. 2-storey terrace 2- and 3-bay cottages following
curve and slope of road. All rubble, tooled rubble dressings.
12-pane glazing; ridge and end stacks; slate roofs.
Boatman's Cottage; 3-bay house with centre door in south
elevation, and with further 2-bay extension at east (formerly
separate 2-bay dwelling); sharply canted narrow single bay at
west and angled gable.
Braehead and Harbour Cottages; pair 2-bay dwellings with
paired centre doors.

Statement of Interest

Sited on cliff top above harbour, which was completed in

1831.

Terrace sympathetically restored circa 1980.
