Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Crenellated wall. Harl-pointed rubble. Rubble merlons; outer merlons carried on granite corbels. Slightly recessed round-arch to W face, infilled with squared and coursed masonry (partly missing). Mark of formerly adjoining gable to E face. Remains of lower walls adjoining to N and S.

Formerly with similarly detailed wall to N, adjoined at right angles by lower walls; remains include foundation course and granite corbels; blown down in 1953.
