Early 19th century. Vehicular bridge, on E-W axis. Single span, with high semicircular arch. Rubble. Some ashlar dressings to abutments. Parapets raised at centre with angled rubble coping. Parapets terminated by granite ashlar conical-capped tourelles. Inside of S parapet built up in concrete.
The Bridge is marked as "Viaduct" on the OS Map of 1848, and carries the road over a path which leads from the Logan Estate to a "Boat House" on the shore at Portavaddie, and to Logan Fish Pond (see separate listing). The Boat House is marked on the OS Map of 1906 but is no longer in existence.
