Earlier 19th century, 1st floor slightly later. 2-storey with 1st floor breaking eaves, rectangular-plan lodge (to Rossie Priory). Ground floor mixed rubble, ashlar dressings, attic floor red sandstone rubble with stugged ashlar dressings, slate roof, corniced and shouldered red ashlar end stacks. 6-pane casement windows, hoodmoulds to ground floor; bracketted eaves, plain bargeboards with rounded ends.
S ELEVATION: later recessed door and semi-canted multi-pane tripartite window to right, angle to far right chamfered to ground floor, window to left, 2 gabled dormerheads breaking through eaves at attic.
E GABLE: window to centre, later window to left with chamfered jambs, window to attic.
W GABLE: window to ground and attic floors.
N ELEVATION: single storey, half-piended bay to right.
INTERIOR: not seen.
Listed as a component of Rossie Estate. 2 pyramidal-capped timber gatepiers and gates adjoin the lodge to the south east, and the lodge is enclosed within the Rossie Priory policy walls to the north. The windows were probably lattice-paned originally.
