Late 19th century. Single storey and attic to rear, L-plan cottage. Dark rubble, stugged and margined red sandstone dressings, purple and grey slate roof. 4-pane sash and case windows; bracketted eaves, plain bargeboards with rounded ends, corniced and shouldered ridge stacks (rebuilt in brick at W gable).
S ELEVATION: out-of-character glazed door to centre with 2-pane fanlight, chamfered doorcase, gable dormerhead with exposed truss and decorative cast-iron finial; window to left and right.
E AND W GABLES: blank.
N ELEVATION: window to centre; gable advanced to right, window to attic, door and window to right return.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
OUTBUILDING: single storey, square-plan, pyramidal-roofed outbuilding in similar style to W.
The cast-iron finial bears the star and crescent moon of the Kinnaird family, and the initials AK, referred to Arthur Fitzgerald Kinnaird who became 11th Baron of Kinnaird in 1887 (died 1923).
