Description

Late 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse with modern porch. Harled with painted stone margins.

NW ELEVATION: small lean-to porch to centre with windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration close to eaves at 1st floor. Lean-to outbuilding with small window to outer left.

SW ELEVATION: window to each floor at outer left.

SE ELEVATION: single storey lean-to porch at centre and window in bay to right, small stair(?) window to centre and further window off-centre right at 1st floor. Small traditional rooflight to right of centre.

Modern uPVC non-traditional/out-of-character glazing. Grey slates. Coped brick stacks with thackstanes and cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low, coped, drystone boundary walls.

Statement of Interest

Property of Glamis Castle Maintenance Trust. Replacement of traditional glazing would greatly enhance this fine traditional farmhouse.
