Earlier 19th century. Single storey picturesque lodge with
deeply overhanging roof forming verandah. Rectangular plan
with apsidal end, modern flat-roofed single storey rear
elevation. Harled walling.
Timber gabled porch flanked by casement windows, bipartite
and tripartite with diamond-pane glazing. Apsidal end has
4-light window with outer lights pointed arch. All casements
with multi-pane diamond pattern glazing.
Overhanging eaves supported by timber posts which form
verandah. Central stack with pair of tall diamond cans. Good
graded slate roof.
Similar in style to Whithorn Lodge to Galloway House, Sorbie
Parish, Wigtownshire. Part of Cally Estate B Group.
