Description

L-plan former corn mill possibly of later 18th century

origin, enlarged post-1850 and considerably altered during

conversion to domestic use in 1984. Painted rubble

construction. 2-storey, at W built into rising ground giving single-storey only. N jamb raised from single-storey height

circa 1850, dressed quoins to upper floor. Small windows

opened to N and S, large intrusive garage door slapped

through to N. 2-storey piend-roof projecting bay to E

demolished to give open terrace. Mill wheel removed. W jamb

with serrated brick course to eaves, slate roofs throughout.
