Single storey, 3-bay villa with raised basement; outbuildings
to N.
HOUSE: rubble with ashlar margins. Steps to central door renewed and columned doorpiece added all probably 1920's/30's ; square ground floor windows; basement windows with horizontal emphasis and lying panes, latticed casement window below stair (otherwise sash windows). Base
and eaves courses, blocked cornice to all elevations; end
stacks on ramped bases; piended and platformed slated and
leaded roof with 2 Velux lights to front and rear. Flank and rear elevations with variety of glazing patterns, predominantly in timber and sash and case. Rear stair window central.
OUTBUILDINGS: tall rectangular-plan barn built against bank
at E, and with symmetrical long W wall with large arch
central; recessed gabled range to N with dovecot; low kennels
beyond. All rubble-built with ashlar dressings. Slate roofs.
Original front steps now in garden; column bases on site may
be from an earlier doorpiece.
